This Ministry started on 7th January 1990 at
9am. The place was the ‘night club’ facility of the Agbowo
Shopping Complex of the Oyo State Property Development Corporation,
Ibadan, Nigeria. God gave the General Pastor some definite
revelations and miracles which led to the birth of the Ministry.
He received accurate details of the date to start, the name
of the Ministry, the organizational structure, the venue,
and names of the trustees. We believe wholeheartedly, therefore,
that the Glory Tabernacle is a Ministry with
divine origin and divine destiny.
God keeps confirming this truth.
God has called us (with others) to be a model of
true and
successful
ministry. We seek the realization of the goal for which
Christ gave Himself, and for which the Holy Spirit is labouring
to fulfill, which is, the redemption and purification of
a peculiar people, zealous of good works (Tit 2:14).
Therefore our vision is that every member will be
a living model of genuine salvation, sanctification and
service.
We therefore hold in our eternal view the emergence of
a Christ-like Church, conformed to the heavenly pattern.
We consider our individual and collective selves as the
Lord’s redeemed, who are consciously and willingly yielding
ourselves to the Holy Spirit for perfection, until we attain
the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ (Eph.
4:13).
The Glory Tabernacle is a one congregation, full gospel
Ministry. We do not have branches in Nigeria or outside
it, nor are we affiliated to any group bearing similar names
in any part of the world. Nevertheless, we consider ourselves
as part of the Body of Christ, and seek to extend His Kingdom
by being of help to other Ministries as much as is within
our ability.
Membership is open to anyone who desires to be saved through
a living faith in the accomplished redemptive work of Jesus
Christ, as well as to all truly born again persons whose
hearts yearn for perfection in Him.
The Glory Tabernacle Ministry is duly registered with the
Corporate Affairs Commission of the Federal Republic of
Nigeria as No. 6237 of 28th October 1991, under
The Land (Perpetual Succession) Act, Cap. 89.
