Helps Team
Goals:
Helps Team is
an arm of the Ministry by which the needy and less privileged
amongst us are catered for. Our aim has been to put smiles
in the faces of the poor and make them feel a sense of belonging
and also make to fulfill the scriptures in Acts 6:1-4.
Activities:
The team is
involved in organizing jumble sales during the Christmas and
Easter period when food items and clothing materials are sold
at non-profit oriented prices. Food items and clothing material
are also distributed free of charge to the less privileged.
Night vigils
are organized with those in need for spiritual growth. In
the year 2002 the motherless babies homes were visited with
gift items. Over the years, the team had supported many financially
through the helps team programmes.
